A mistrial can be retried. He might not be walking too far.

I just read that the DA will try Cosby again. That is surprising to me.
What a mess.

I have to wonder why it took so long for the women to make the complaints?

He can afford good lawyers. They used preemption to get some people on the jury who they knew wouldn't vote to convict no matter what the evidence.

Any predictions on the Cosby case? Yes, lawyers will make enough to buy early retirement.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

What a mess. I would be surprised if it's retried, costs are prohibitive but the DA makes the call...I hope it's sent back in for round 2. Last I heard it was 10-2 guilty/innocent on the jury, not sure on the final tally.

At least his squeaky clean image has been destroyed. His wife is as bad as he is. She has to have known for years what was going on and tolerated it.

A mistrial can be retried. He might not be walking too far. Sets a precedent, going to be very difficult to overturn. He's not going to jail for this.

Based on the evidence presented by the prosecution as reported by the media, this was the most likely outcome.

An awful lot of smoke to have no fire. But there does not appear to be any concrete evidence. Too much doubt. I doubt he'll actually be retried.

After all this has come to light about Bill Cosby's foul private life, it makes me think it was not a random thing when BC's son was murdered. I think it was some form of payback.

The circumstances surrounding the murder of Ennis Cosby were very odd.

Could have been a little payback, or justice from above.

I have to wonder why it took so long for the women to make the complaints? I've wondered the same thing myself, but if anyone thinks Cosby was some squeaky clean person, they are a badly mistaken. I remember listening to his joke tapes from the 60's, and he was one dirty mouthed sonofagun. He was anything but like the Dr. Cliff Huxtable.

Conviction or not, his life is now ruined.
Lawyers now have most of his money.
He can't even go to the store and buy a box of Jello Puddin' without the paparazzi snapping pics of him.
He's disgraced, shamed, and has had his crown removed.
He will serve a sentence the rest of his life in home prison, with his shamed, vengeful, bitter wife as a cellmate.

Most importantly, he will never again be invited to speak qt a commencement ceremony of a black college, where he could tell the graduates to get off their azzes because it ain't Whitey holden em back anymore!
