Tough call between binos or a scope. Probably the Toric 2-10x42 BDC would be my first choice.

TORIC 10X42 Bibinocular, I would be one less piece of equipment closer to my elk hunt.

I can speak to the performance of the 8x42 Toric Binocular - it's simply without peer at its price point. And, frankly, it'll take lunch money from quite a few more expensive offerings too. The TORIC 3-15x42 T-Plex (currently sold out) is the one I've had my eye on for a 6.5 Creedmoor. The standard setup @ 2800 with BDC reticle should be about perfection to 600 yards, the turret kit to go further yet and the locking side focus is icing on the cake.

THE GUYS AT TRACT ARE ALSO FIRST CLASS FROM my conversation they are listening to the shooting world as well as anyone (Look no period)

I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.
