Somebody on here (and I believe it was tedhorn) stated these were the cat's ass for making a dull knife cut:

https://radakitchenstore.com/collections/featured-best-sellers/products/quick-edge-knife-sharpener

I'll be damned if this isn't the best $7.00 you can spend for a layman's kitchen.

Yes I can put an edge on a knife in a traditional fashion and yes I can use a steel. But this thing flat works and if you want a gift idea...

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

I agree Dave/Travis. I have a Spyderco and love it, but for kitchen knives the RADA is hard to beat and a lot cheaper then the Spyderco. I've used mine for 15 plus years now.

Roger that.

I'll park my Tundra in the kitchen next time we're butchering.

Thanks.

I don't think you're tracking.

Yeah I would never be without my Spyderco.

But this thing is far more effective than I thought it'd be.

It's pretty aggressive though. My Dexters may be worn to nubs soon... grin.

+ 100

This is what I use when I need to re-sharpen my blades. Kitchen knives get a few quick licks on a Dexter Diamond sharpener, but any knife of worth gets the Edge Pro.....

I've got an EdgePro too, but for quick kitchen sharpening, this can't be beat:

https://chefschoice.com/product/chefschoice-prontopro-diamond-hone-knife-sharpener-model-4643/

The Diamond wheels are a lot better than the all-steel one's of the Quick Edge.
