I took an Electricity and Magnetism Class junior year at college.

4 students.

Instructor said the final covered the entire semester - everything, and he was giving out 1 A, 1 B, 1 C and 1 D, based on who got the most right, 2nd most, etc. That made a sphincter factor of about 9.5.

I took the A. The 2nd was 2% behind me. Turns out the lowest two students tied so they both got C's.

Certainly a dose of reality though that life isn't all flowers and butterflies even in the academic world. But that was a long time ago..

I had heard of some medical schools adhering to a rigid bell curve.
The unintended result being that if you had an unusually talented class you may be some failing competent students OR if you had a class of slackers you could be passing unqualified ones.

Master the material, get a good grade.

Why do they even make them go to class? Eliminate the middle man. Have them pay for a degree, then let them choose the grade they want. Give them the degree, and everybody is stress free. Except the professor, I guess. Don't need professors, in that scenario..

So if blowing in a breathalyzer makes a fella nervous, don't you reckon the officer could shave off a few percentage points from the result?

With glee, as long as I get the prof.

Of course, the little booger miners were setup up for a life of entitlements with two free fuggin meals at school, what do they think they have created?

So they are paying this professor to do what?

They're paying him to make them feel good...sorta like a hooker.

On the news this am, the U clamped down on the prof - due to public backlash.

Whatever will the little snowflakes DO??
