It's the bullets not the headstamp. 6MM Rem has the same case capacity as a 243A.I. In the proper length action it is a fine choice.

I have good deer bullets, good elk bullets, good plinking bullets, good varmint bullets, good target bullets, good LR bullets, good all-around hunting bullets, etc., but I don't know the first thing about effective salmon-shooting. C'mon guys, don't chase stick away. I need to hear his expertise on good fish gun combos.
