No new Remingtons in past 10yrs.
However, several used Rem's in the safes now dating back to 1902 in a roller in 7mm, to 2001 40XB in the Swift. In between are M141, M25, 870's in various gauges. I've owned one Model 700 and just never connected with it; moved it along and replaced it with a Win M70 LW in 30-06. I am a Remington fan and would buy another if I wanted to. I'd hate to see the brand go away.

The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

I have a couple Remingtons purchased in the past decade, a 1903, a 1903A3, a 700ML and a 550-1. I hold nothing against them, but they just don't produce anything that piques my interest.

I don't own any Remington rifles. I even avoid their ammunition when possible.

Remington shotguns OTOH are THE schitt.............especially the 870 Tactical.

I have bought a lot but only two Remingtons and that was thirty years ago. An 870 pump and an 11-87 semi-auto.

Most recent for me was a Benelli R1 and a Weatherby Vanguard. I looked at a 700 ADL New recently and felt like the bolt was sliding on fine sand paper. Bought the used vanguard instead. It was for a loner rifle. I like Remington 700s and one is my primary hunting rifle. But if I was buying new now I would probably look elsewhere.
