Today it came together and more so than could have ever been imagined. Had already still hunted for 3 hours-bounced 6 out of their beds-and then hooked up with the Bud who shot the one pictured yesterday said, "You want me to push out that little thicket?" "Ya. let's do it." 30minutes or so later 4 Does and this guy came running out at around 50yards. Got on him and finally was running the cross hairs in sync. He hit an opening and I hit the trigger. Saw him hunch in the scope and figured I hit middle on my side with a little angle on the other. Got another off to no effect. Went up and found hair and blood and the further I went the more there was. He made it perhaps 60 yards before going down. It happened quick and there wasn't any time to think about it. This is so awesome! Congrats Harry! I've put in the time and the effort and I mentioned that to him. I'd like to think he perhaps had something to do with the ending.
