Very nice kaywoodie. Congrats to her, and the whole family for getting kids involved.

Gotta be proud of your Granddaughter there Bob!! Way to go, that smile says it all! I'm sure you and Grandma were smiling just as big. My granddaughter starts next year, thinking my 88 carbine in .243 is the ticket.

Thats all! Thats Grammie's old rifle she gave her last year for Christmas. Its been a good shooting rifle over the yesrs! Now they both start new chapters in their hunting life!

Yeah Ms Katy did well, one shot about 65 yards. Plus she used her own hand loads!

Pretty sure my winchesters are done for the 2017 season, only small game likely for the remainder.

Buddy was visiting in June and we went out to get some meat/feeder hogs. It was my first ever hog hunt...next time will be spot and stock as shooting them over a feeder was kinda too unclimatic for my taste. Meat was delicious though, loved me some pulled pork sandwiches from the crockpot. Rifle was a 1955 Fwt 30-06, all original with a 180 Interlock, dropped on the spot with a neck shot.

Last saturday I took a nice 8-pt while hunting in my old stomping grounds of Central Pa. We were pushing a swamp and I was a stander. This guy came out, then started running the creek I was over looking. Shot him as he was quartering away running, 110 TTSX through the backbone exit through the far ribcage after tearing through the lungs. Rifle was a SC Fwt 270 in an edge Fwt pattern.

My old pal, Gunner500, wanted me to post these pics of critters he shot this past safari with. Pre64 Model
70 in .375 H &H. I will let him explain his pics, because I would make up some pretty big stories about em. Better he tell!
