Nicely done EdM, Beretzs and Centershot. Interesting observation on Leupolds, have always been a big fan of them.

There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone.
Everyone knows what they mean.
What's more important is time that is known
as the little dash inbetween.

LOL, Thanks TMitch, another very funny thing about this hunt was having only twenty 375 cal. 275 gr Bitterroot Bonded Core bullets to work with, BSA sent me a bag of 20, I worked up a load [2755 fps] and zeroed the rifle, had the scope get fuzzy, Leupold sent me a new replacement, was able to re-zero the new scope, take one practice shot once in Africa, kill four animals and still have one loaded round left.

Hows that for efficient? grin

Thanks Beretzs, I appreciate the votes of confidence from yourself and BSA on using these bullets.

Nice Elk too, that SS-II looks good.

Outstanding work, fellas! Hadn't checked this thread in a while. Am home now recovering from replacement of congenital aortic valve. Got me a pig or cow valve now. smile

But, I'll be back out at 'em asap.

I took a rescued Pre 64 M70 7MM carbine out last night and dropped a doe. It was to dark for any pictures. Maybe tomorrow with a reduced load for my 375 H&H, another Pre64.

I’m a BIG fan of those Swift Sciroccos Gunner. In my opinion they are damned near a modern day Bitterroot. They are some serious BG Bullets and just hammer the 4-5 Elk we’ve used them on. 270-338 and the results have been the same.

10-4, wish they made a 160 in 7mm, it would be a contender for my Mashburn build.

Shoot Gunner, run their 150... That bullet at 3250’ish will not ever leave you missing 10 grains.

That was dug out of this bull at 475 yards.

Apologize for getting off track but these animals were all taken with Model 70’s whistle
