The Iowa/BC game was pretty good.

The Iowa/BC game was pretty good.
With any luck, both MO and TX will lose. I'm in Iowa city with my sister and BIL right now. Sis is a Hawkeye and we were watching the game at Red's. Sis and BIL are quite happy right now. Meanwhile I scored some 9mm and 45 ammo on sale today at Scheel's so I'm quite happy too.

FSU bounced my Southern Miss team pretty hard. FSU had one heck of a good team this year! I'm glad my Aggies didn't have to play them. We play Wake Forrest on Friday.

FSU bounced my Southern Miss team pretty hard. FSU had one heck of a good team this year! Would this be the same FSU team that started the year ranked #3, then lost to Alabama, Miami and Clemson. No shame losing to any one of those three, but ALL three? Top that with losses to NC State, Louisville and Boston College and they had to struggle to be bowl eligible. FSU has had many good teams and will again, but this was not a good year for them. No offense to Southern Miss, but beating them is not a big deal. Heck, Tennessee beat them.

With any luck, both MO and TX will lose. Very entertaining game. But I was expecting both teams to come out for the second half wearing ice skates just to get some traction. Dear Lord in Heaven, I can't think of a WORSE venue for late December football than Yankee Stadium. To be there you either had a close family member on the field or just have little to nothing going on in your life. Everything inside the bowl must have been frozen like seal guts on an iceberg. And for those unfortunate enough to bear the cold it'd take a pair of 8x40s just to see the field.
