Pretty simple question, have a bunch of brass and want to fireform them without having to reloading expensive bullets and full powder charge. Anyone have a recipe to load rice or "other" over a low charge to blow the cases out? Would a FF load for a Win Mag be safe in your experienced opinions? Thanks everyone!

I will try to find the info, but cream of wheat and pistol powders and primers were the go to method of old. miles

Read it! I was wrong, wasn't rice, was Cream of Wheat lol. I'll have to research if Red Dot will work. That'd be ideal since I have to get some for my 12ga 1-1/8oz Dove reloads... Any recipe I figure out I'll post. Should be good for any 300 H&H based brass...

Red dot will work. That is what I used to fire form 7mm08 improved way back. I can't seem to find my info right now. I did find that using bullseye, you start with a load 10% of a full case. I remember that I could not find bullseye and ended up with Red Dot. Used the rest of it after I got a .38 special and reloaded lead bullets. miles
