This seems like a big milestone in the march towards totalitarianism to me. I guess nobody cares? Also, starting today, you can register your sex on your California drivers license as non-binary, i.e., no sex identity. That sounds very stylish, doesn't it?

as of today in san jose Basspro , you can look at ammo but you can't touch it. you have to ask a sales person to take what you want.
am I glad I know how to reload.

I understand that California residents can no longer bring in ammo from out of state. What about non-residents? I've done some pig hunting in California and always brought my own rifle and ammo. Is that still legal?

Years ago, California was taken over politically by the Marxist Socialist inspired "progressives," better known as the Democrat Party. Today, their eventual goal is to ban and confiscate all firearms in California from the worker peasants. Of course, exemptions will be the well armed, very expensive bodyguards of the elite Party leaders, Mega-Millionaire Marxists and Billionaire Bolsheviks.
There is an old saying "Life is hard by the yard but a cinch by the inch." After the anti-gunners resounding defeat in 1982 of the Proposition 15 debacle wherein 66 % voted against the Democrats' plan to ban handguns and eventually long guns, they decided to follow the "inch by inch by inch by inch" rule to achieve their final goal.
Since 1982, they have passed a myriad of profoundly illogical and highly restrictive anti-guns laws systematically in Sacramento and various metropolitan counties, each new law being more restrictive and onerous than the last. When the laws have been challenged in court as being unConstitutional, the extreme far left anti-Second Amendment Federal 9th District Court has always ruled in favor of the Marxist Socialist inspired "progressives."
These new 2018 anti-guns/ammo laws are nothing more than a another brick in the ever widening wall against private firearms ownership in California. The "progressives" could not care less about reducing violent crime. Most know that criminals don't bother to obey the law. Reducing violent crime is not their goal: disarming the honest citizens is their goal.
