That kind of thing could easily get you killed in Mississippi. And rightly should in most locales. Some kind of stupid to board another hunters boat and start an assault, knowing they have guns on board. The locals down east ways are done with threatening and intimidating. Everyone has a cell phone with indisputable evidence now. Some,counties have what's called the safe hunter law that says you can't hunt within 500 yards of an established blind. All the local landowners do is put,up 2 sticks and some burlap and lock up miles of shoreline. Its total BS.

He'll be darned lucky if he doesn't do time, or even gets it pled down to just misdemeanor level. Exactly. Think of all the regular Joes that have had to deal with this prick and just moved along until he whipped out his cock on the wrong person. Jail time is definitely warranted if all the charges are true. He is also lucky to be alive. Hopefully he gets off the juice and gets an attitude adjust. I do not disagree with anything except the legal costs that would follow. I even submit that once it was clear he intended to ram the boat he was fair game... no need board the other boat... Those legal fees are going to depend heavily on what area you are in and the attitude of the law enforcement agencies in general. I'm not going to worry about those kind of things when I feel my life is being threatened. I ain't gonna kill someone because they piss me off it's only going to happen if I feel my life is being threatened, so if any, the legal costs would be better than the funeral costs.
