I have sat and talked to Ken Howell several times, face to face and never found Him do be as described by Scott and Bart. Sure, He was old, lonely and craved attention, but not as I see Him described here. But He is dead and has been for a long time, and I don't see where it betters anyone to talk this bad about Him. Abraham Lincoln and Jane Fonda, when She is finally dead, are the only 2 that I would keep bringing up bad stuff about. miles

I was there, and I never heard that gossip, but I figure that I stunk too. My wife says about every time I come in the house late on a summer day, that I stink. Not to mention when I have been at Quemado for close to a week. When we break up on Sunday, the first place is a motel with a shower. I go take a shower and everything is OK. I would not worry too much about it. miles

What isn't "Surprising" is the lack of whatever is lacking when...

1) Speaking ill of the dead.

2) Airing correspondence that was sent in confidence via Private Message.

None of that is surprising in the least. It doesn't take a very large dose of crap to contaminate the whole bucket of milk.

I don't know what Bart thinks I'm lying about. S Head has disrespected people's families here for a long time. He disrespected mine. The facts are plain to see. As to Ken and Dogzapper. DZ can defend himself if he wishes. Ken can't. I have no experience of Ken other than on these pages. I won't go into it. I'll say this though...I'll take the word of Ron and Miles any day of the week over somebody that calls me a liar over easily proven facts.

Never in person, but then again I'm not so sure why I"m getting on a thread like this either.

But in PM, posts, and emails I"ve never had a single bad experience or anything that would lead me to think so or bad of Ken.

Sometimes I wonder if its not simply the fact that he was or came across as religious and for some reason that irritates the ones that don't believe, which I simply don't understand.

Again, I just conversed with Ken on here, but I'll take the word of two solid posters over somebody who comes on here, ignorant of easily obtained and proven facts, and starts calling me a liar.
