My T3 in 270 Win loves the 140 NAB. Animals shot with it hate it. Yet to recover a bullet as all have passed through. Performance has been stellar with good wound channels, broken shoulder blades and exits not hard to find. Not much I wouldn't tackle in NA with this rig.

My .270 win has a really long throat so I have no problem hitting 3100 fps with a 130 gr. The ballistic tips are awesome on deer. At 400 yards it will punch through both shoulders. I have never recovered one. I started shooting Remington Core Lokt projectiles a while back to save $ and they are almost as accurate and hit just as hard and are half the cost. At least they were. I haven't seen them for sale in quite a while. Now I am using Sierra Pro Hunters -- around $0.26 per. I shoot a fair amount practicing on steel and spending 59 cents a round for Accubonds just hurts.

I guess they are contagious. I have multiple 270s and one 284 W - which in handloads is near identical.

I guess I have a double dose. As a winter reloading project, I picked up a Tikka T3x in 270win and 270 wsm. My first trip to the range, I found an accuracy node with Interlocks and Partitions at 61g of H4831. The Interlocks shot into one hole and Partitions were1/2”. Interestingly, the Accubond’s best group was also at 61g but grouped 11/2”. I used a COAL that matched factory loads. I’m hoping shortening the bullet jump will tighten the Partitions a bit. Hoping the wsm shoots as well, hopefully with 140 Accubonds. This is my second Tikka to shoot one hole groups it’s first trip to range (the other is a 30-06 shooting 165 Accubonds with a caseful of IMR4350).

My Sako Tecomate (A7S) .270 WSM really likes the 130g NAB's. Groups around 0.5" at 3300+ fps. I'm gonna try the 140g NAB's in my Tikka T3 .270 WSM and Ruger No. 1B .270 Weatherby Mag. and maybe my Weatherby Mk V Accumark, if I decide not to sell it.
