I know deep down he is a true blue american patriot.

A deeply moral family man and a true blue conservative.

He would never trick us, because I saw on Fox that he is really a good person.

He would have rushed in and saved those kids at the school, even un-armed. He said so.

Isn't that enough for you?

When did Trump become such a god like figure? I don’t get it.

I voted for the guy 2x and would do it again.

Does criticizing him mean we’re somehow betraying something? If so, I hope it’s bigger than him cuz I’ve alwsys been a principals guy not into cults of personality.

Since when does criticism in politics... on the Internet... require that one be able to do better?? That’s utterly retarded...

I agree with Trump signing it. Couldn't afford not to with all the volatility in the air re potential trade disputes.

I suspect that next week he will be pushing to exempt military spending from Continuing resolution financing. THEN, he can veto the next POS CR.

Amen Hank.

I loved how he stuck it to the media. It made great sense that being a good businessman he’d pick good people to work with him and let them do their jobs with minimal interference.

I really hated Cruz’s whining and after RP dropped out he was the only somewhat Conservative candidate left.

I still have high hopes that Trump can learn as he goes. I don’t think he is an idiot but I do think that this idea out there that he is some sort of genius is retarded. He could definitely do better if he’d go with that thought that attracted me... hire good people to work for him, stand back and do what he is told while using twitter to drive an agenda in cahoots with Conservatives like Rand Paul and Ben Sasse.

He created the trade disputes. Talk about not being able to play chess...

I think Trump gave it to us straight. He didn't like the bill, but signed it so that we can strengthen our military at a critical time. He, more than anyone else, realizes what we are looking at as far as serious international threats are concerned, and our current military capability to respond to them. Look at how he has reshuffled his cabinet and who the strategic thinkers are.

Trump is getting ready to play some serious hardball, and doesn't want to waste six months or a year of political bickering getting his tools ready to do so. And yes, I WILL vote for him again.

maybe....stay tuned....pretty soon we'll be hearing "I was forced to sign this POS bill because our military is held hostage to CR financing"....

if the military can be exempted from it, that is a BFD going forward in this chitty process.

I think that's BS. He tied funding the wall to national security, and used the military to sell it.

if that happens, then he and the military will break this country exactly the way we broke the Soviet Union. We made them spend themselves to death. If we repeat that mistake we will suffer the same fate. We already have - by miles and miles - the biggest military the biggest portion of our budget devote to the military and we don't need DJT fishing for a war to call his own - not in the Middle East with Iran or the West Pacific with gopher-boy. the way he is going, we will have both.

Last I heard there was no money for hiring more border patrol agents, and no money for building any of his wall. Zilch.

Only money in there was to continue and repair what's up now.

efw,

Now you're on to something! Both parties count on their voters to NEVER criticize "their man" . Once they get in they get a free pass from the voters that elected them! Stupid.

People pat themselves on the back for getting off their ass once every four years and voting for the lesser of two evils, then sit right back on their ass and excuse their laziness by saying "at least it isn't so-and-so".

It happens with both parties.

My Girl friend read something today about the Chess game.

The Corps. of Engineers is part of our military and as such the Corps. of Engineers can build the wall to protect our Domestic security from foreign threats.

We can only hope.

And for tyhe guy who said walls never work.

I think the Great wall of China has worked out pretty well for China for hundereds of years.

Why do we need more military spending? We spend now more than the next ten biggest military spending countries in the world combined. The Deep State wants more military spending so we can fight Israel’s wars in the Middle East. It’s not for us.
