I loved how he stuck it to the media. It made great sense that being a good businessman he’d pick good people to work with him and let them do their jobs with minimal interference.

I really hated Cruz’s whining and after RP dropped out he was the only somewhat Conservative candidate left.

I still have high hopes that Trump can learn as he goes. I don’t think he is an idiot but I do think that this idea out there that he is some sort of genius is retarded. He could definitely do better if he’d go with that thought that attracted me... hire good people to work for him, stand back and do what he is told while using twitter to drive an agenda in cahoots with Conservatives like Rand Paul and Ben Sasse.

I think Trump gave it to us straight. He didn't like the bill, but signed it so that we can strengthen our military at a critical time. He, more than anyone else, realizes what we are looking at as far as serious international threats are concerned, and our current military capability to respond to them. Look at how he has reshuffled his cabinet and who the strategic thinkers are.

Trump is getting ready to play some serious hardball, and doesn't want to waste six months or a year of political bickering getting his tools ready to do so. And yes, I WILL vote for him again.

if that happens, then he and the military will break this country exactly the way we broke the Soviet Union. We made them spend themselves to death. If we repeat that mistake we will suffer the same fate. We already have - by miles and miles - the biggest military the biggest portion of our budget devote to the military and we don't need DJT fishing for a war to call his own - not in the Middle East with Iran or the West Pacific with gopher-boy. the way he is going, we will have both.

Why do we need more military spending? We spend now more than the next ten biggest military spending countries in the world combined. The Deep State wants more military spending so we can fight Israel’s wars in the Middle East. It’s not for us.
