Here is a link to the Wisconsin Crossbow bill. I found it interesting that both the Age 65 or disability exemptions are scratched out and from what I can decipher from it, if they reduce crossbow season people over 65 or with disabilities would not be able to use a crossbow during the archery season. It would take a legislative action to put those provisions back into the archery season. Maybe I am reading it wrong but don't think so.

I think the crossbowers are misunderstanding the law that created the separate crossbows Season. This new improvement to the crossbow season does not eliminate the season. It will only bring the success rates on par with real bowhunters and gun deer hunters. The crossbowing season will still be many weeks long. There will be plenty of opportunity for crossbowing and lots od deer for them to hunt over those weeks. Folks can settle down a bit and actually think this through.
