I'm certain my single bevel would work with a crossbow but no, I don't sell my broadheads. I make them for personal use. You would do well with a cutthroat single bevel broadhead. I recently use them on my Water Buffalo and hogzilla and they performed great. The other head I would recommend would be the Iron Will. Its built like a tank and comes in a lot of weights. Ive been playing with the Iron Will as I develop a sharpening guide for them and I'm impressed. Truly a quality head made of amazing materials. ill check out IRON Will broadheads I would need your sharpening guide Anyone here sell nice bow hunting backpacks https://www.ironwilloutfitters.comhttp://cutthroatbroadheads.com/index.htmlhttp://crossbowsinalaska.freeforums.net/

I've had over 25 compounds and over 30 recurves. Detest longbows.
Wheels I like Hoyt. Have a soft spot for Oneidas. Trad I like Black Widow.
Broadheads............G5 Striker or Magnus Stinger these days.
If I were to get a new compound I'd take a look at a G5 Prime.

Might try to find a decent LFM or SBE2. None of the new stuff hs what I want.
Could tolerate an Osprey, but they only max 55# on the cast riser. I want 60# and 50% letoff if shooting fingers.
Boutique shop versions, maybe a 5150 of some sort.
Aint none of them going to be cheap, esp if I have to rebuild it. Just be a backup bow anyway, in case I got hurt and couldn't hunt w one of my recurves.

I thought Phoenix was a Monster bow. Thought about a Dragon, but dislike shoot through cables. Too bad nobody makes a new version of Firebrand.
Cam/lever or just lever bows.............cool stuff. But lots of moving parts and they just don't have the speeds the new other bows have.

Always suspected the heavier spine required on such bows was due to string over travel. IMHO a single string stop, coming off riser from below the grip..........would have been better. But maybe with the lever bow design it can't get by with any offset. One on each end, like on the Oneida Eagle Phoenix.........at same distance from tip.........might solve the heavy spine issue, and help with noise. But it looks horrible IMHO Read that they are not mandatory, bow can be shot without. Local pro shop only has new Ospreys and a used Kestrel at the moment. If I'm gonna dump 1300 on a bow, it'll be a new Blackwidow PCH.

Dude that does the Whitetail Adrenaline videos runs a Dwyer longbow. My buddy likes his Tomahawk. Black Widow makes a popular one. Just depends on design, woods, materials one wants. I'll pass on all longbows. Hell I dislike recurves over 60" .......that makes them "longbows"

I got my eye on you Joe. I see your polluting this place with your BS. But your BS doesn’t compare to Rancid Crabtree. But none the less I got my eye on you.

I have not heard from any firearm deer hunters complaining about crossbows shooting to many deer. Let watch see what happens next This is why a letter writing campaign needs to be started, preferably before the next NRB meeting

As the WBH president put in his post. As soon as we have all the details of the hearing question we will get them out to you, but in the meantime please make arrangements now to attend and vote at those hearings. THANK YOU.
And finally, although it’s clear that many of us are very passionate about this issue, understand that we are not opposed to crossbows or the folks that hunt with them. WBH actually has many members that hunt with crossbows for a variety of reasons. And we are not opposed to the handicapped and elderly retaining the right to use them as they do now. This is about preserving and protecting bowhunting and restoring a balanced opportunity to all Wisconsin deer hunters. Sounds like a devisive whiny liberal.
