If it is BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo), it is indeed related to the calcium crystals dislodging. The redhead has been helped a gret deal by taking a combination of calcium, vitamin D and Magnesium. HTH. The BPV exercises retrain your brain so it knows which way is up.

I have suffered intermittent bouts of Vertigo since I was 14. About 4 times a month. I used to take Meclizine but it is a narcotic & it knocks me out for 1.5 days. If you want to sleep like Rip Van Winkel, gitcha some Meclizine. I take 25 mg. They have it up to 150 I believe. You can buy a 100 ct botle from your pharmacist. It is NOT Rx but you do have to ask for it, behind the counter.
By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

Meclizine is the generic name for the prescription drug called Antivert and the over-the-counter (OTC) medicines known as Dramamine and Bonine. Meclizine is used to treat motion sickness and dizziness. ... However, meclizine works a little differently, reducing nausea and muscle spasms.

Here's hoping it's vertigo from a correctable cause. There are several conditions that can cause it; hope like crazy it isn't real Meniere's disease, the one there just isn't much hope for. Wife got to coping with it pretty well after the first 9 years, then it went bilateral. It's been 13 years total since diagnosis, and daily life is pretty good, or very, very bad.
