The Japanese killed my uncle Mike in the south Pacific in WW2. We don't buy from them. Pretty much every nation on earth has killed someone's uncle at one point in history. Enemies become allies and allies become enemies as time marches on. My dad served in Europe and lost 2 cousins in WW-2. Time to move on. We often use ATV's to get into areas to search with the SAR team I volunteer with. We beat the crap out of them and take them through places most people would never try. We blaze trails through thick brush pushing over small trees, riding through clear cuts, jumping stumps, driving over downed logs and through skidder ruts. The standard ATV's work best for most of what we do. The side by sides are just too big for most of the places we go. But we do have some guys who use them. They are better for transporting dogs and their handlers into remote areas to save their legs. Or getting victims out if we find them. Or the coroner in if we find remains. I've never seen a Honda or Yamaha break down, and some of them are 15-20 years old. Other brands have had to be towed back to the command post a few times.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Nice ATV, my next ATV or a UTV will probably be a Honda. Honda builds a great product......... do your research......they have dropped the ball on SxS machines.. I am currently looking at new SxS's......I thought.....Yamaha.....Honda.....?.....both single cylinder 700's...... like a girl friend in HS.....both underpowered & overweight....... for me....I may try a Kawasaki Teryx 800 V twin LE 4....... looking at soon selling my '09 Rhino 700........ Pretty satisfied with my Pioneer 700. It's not at all fast, 43 mph tops, but unless you have to cover long distances in a hurry, it serves very well. Plenty of torque for off road use and hauling/towing, a true automatic transmission with no belts, and mechanically actuated 4WD and front diff lock. Not the fastest, but certainly very capable and reliable. That's been my experience with mine as well. I'd like to drive one of the Pioneer 1000 to see what the bigger motor and more gears is like. The Honda Pioneers are tougher than chit. I'm not sure if they have fancy cab options like the Rangers but they can handle some major abuse.

The Germans tried too you as shole, but you still bought a Porsche Back in the early 1960's many of us bought VW designs. I fell for it too and got a couple of Beatles and then a new Porsche 912. That was their 4 cyl. rear engine sports coupe with a 1600 cc engine and a 5 speed floor shift. That little junk kept breaking down. After the floor shift's articulation knob wore it's place out and PORSCHE (the master race) could not make or provide another my late father who owned his tool and die shop made one for me so that I could drive that junk again. No wonder they lost every war. I still have that part here in my shop. If I can find an easy pic. of it I will.

I beat the $hit out of one on a 10,000 acre ranch out in your neck of the woods last Saturday. Thought I was going to be walking several miles back to the shop on several occasions but that Pioneer got it self out of some nasty predicaments. Impressive piece of equipment.
