.30 caliber with 7. The venerable .30-06 cartridge leads the pack accounting for 3 of the 7.

Going on memory...which isn't that good these days.

1-44
1-35
3-30's
2-277's
2-6.5's (don't know how I forgot them in the beginning. I bet if one of them was a CM I wouldn't have forgotten!)
3-257's
4-6mm's

Seems like I'm missing 1 or 2. I have a few 22's but didn't count'em nor handguns!

From memory and not actually going to look there are. I have sold off a dozen or so rifles lately so the numbers are down frown. Not counting the single calibers like the 338, 416 or 500 BPE etc.

The most common caliber in my safe by far is 30 caliber. They range from 30 Carbine up to 300 Weatherby at the moment.

The most common 30 caliber cartridge is probably 303 Savage with 300 Savage close behind. 30 Remington and 30/06 would be tied for third.

The most common cartridge in the safe is a tie between 303 British and 223 Rem. Smellys tend to grow on you especially back when they were so cheap.

#1 = .22-cal
#2 = .26-cal

.45-70s and .44s...many other calibers, but less of each.

This just looks right to me! I only have 3-25's, but for deer they are hard to beat in my book. Just out of curiosity, are they 8 different cartridges or some duplicates?
