A week from today I will be packed and ready to launch. Left some things unfinished so I have an excuse to return.

Well, Dude, best of luck with the move & I'm sure everyone will adapt. You sure as hell won't be shootin' anywhere near as much, but the fishing there is a lot better than good & in the Keys it is just insanely good. And a lot of the fishing can be like huntin' too. I've fished a lot in SW Florida & the keys & I don't think I'd ever get tired of it. Get yourself a nice, deep 23-25' boat that you can do in-shore with & on good calm days that can get you a ways off shore & you'll love it, as will the family. Couple of years & you'll have all learned the ropes & you'll enjoy it, hot weather & foreigners not withstanding. MM My boat will be named the "Feckless Kghunt." If you see it, wave. Should consider "The Wet Spot" as a boat name. Friend use to have a bar called that. Great bar name and I think it would work for a boat too.

I can understand getting burned out on the hi-line, that place hasn't changed in the 30 yrs I have been going up there, but south Florida?
Good lord don't you know that place is plum full of liberals?
Anyhow best wishes and good luck. I don't think it's that bad as far as liberals go. The gun laws seem pretty good. Gun laws are good.. for now. But, as is in many other places, it requires vigil. Conservatives are not gone. And many of the liberals are of the imported variety.

Good luck! South Florida. That is a serious downgrade.......we went to Orlando, Sanibel Island and Fort Meyers a few years back.The mountains in the distance are condos. Anything that wasn't paved was a swamp. People on top of people. Could not even turn around without bumping into someone. Downright claustrophobic for this Idaho boy. Good luck to you, glad it's not me! Come on, Bro. I been drunk in all those and Miami, Cape Coral, Daytona and Coco. I had a great time. The Pine Island Sound booze cruise was awesome.

Just spent a week in S Florida. It sure has changed and not for the better.no shortage of work
I can understand wanting to get out of Havre area though and change is good .
No sharpies in Florida but some decent fishing can be had on both coasts.
Did the same move five months ago.
