No idea who it is although he could be someone well known. I just thought it was a great portrait of an old guy with a ton of character in his face.

Cool! That's one of the purtiest Lee-Enfields I've seen. Is it .303 or converted to 45-70?

What model is that? It looks similar to a Sporting Carbine but he magazine tube is shorter than a factory one, while the barrel doesn't show that the attachment lug has been moved back.

Hey man That is a handsome 99!!! Went with slumlord today ta pick up his 99 He got from ya. He got a weaver k6 to put on it Went to my man cave Mounted the scope Gun and scope have a nice look for sure Seriously dude How often was that gun shot if ever ??? Where did ya find one in that shape???? I could see no copper at all in the rifling at the house with a light down the bore Seen no wear of the bluing in the rifling at all. Like maybe a little tiny bit on the shoulder of some of the lands like maybe From 1 or 2 rds test fire from the factory. Pulled no carbon outta the barrel at all with a freshly washing machine cleaned bore snake done yesterday It had no marks from the action being worked in the lever case coloring at all. We started working the lever after I lubed up the gun very generously And after awhile a very faint crescent started to form. The bolt face is absolutely pristine with no cartridge head or primer ring signs at all. I was impressed... And I'm not a 99 type really. light safe marks at the most. Way better condition than how ya described and their is nothing wrong With that one bit. Slumlord was like a kid on christmas morning. Fugg I was too honestly and it ain't my rifle. He needs ta put up a pic !!!!

Model 36g Marlin Glenfield 2 yr Transistion model between the 336 and the Glenfield 30 formally standing up for production. 5930 of em made in 64 and 65 This is one of the 1st 500 of the intial run made for Montgomery Ward Per research I did with the black walnut stock 1st run models. Others got turned out with gum wood and birch stocks On the 36g,s marlin was putting em together with materials on hand until Glenfield got Their production and legal matters straight for their model 30. Not a valuable rifle But a kinda rare one Pawn shop find I brought back to life. Our county office complex used ta be a Montgomery Wards until 1991. And it is very accurate Very easy carrying in the woods. Ain't been blooded yet in my hands Let some bucks with potential walk last year with it also.

I’m ashamed to admit this FN FAL is unfired in original box.

Dammmmm
I feel I have too many guns at 7 sometimes
I need ta get a decent .22 bolt gun again Build another M4 type clone again. And get a small pocket carry pistol like a ppk.
Bring my total to 10 and call it quits.
Ya i know One can never have enough guns!!!!
Forgive me all, for my absolutely outta my fugging mind thought intially.
Some of the collections some of you guys have Blows my mind.
Fugg,,, going over to slumlords house and seeing him pull Guns outta thin air used ta blow mind.
Ever since my daughter's have gone on with their lives I have been able to buy more guns.
Used ta be for the longest time. A deer rifle mod 70 ot6 6 ML renegade 50 cal then my kodiak Shotgun mostly 835,s Turkey gun. Mostly 835,s
Now I got a core group of guns i have aquired to hold onto probably like most everyone else. And ones in the outer orbit that can be wheeled and dealed with easy to replace types. Sometimes the wheeling and dealing results in a core gun group addition.

Long ago. I carried that RPK to promote "goodwill" in mosul for about 3 weeks. Till some civil affairs weenie types told brigade I was carrying it on patrols. It is in the 502nd IN display case at Fort Campbell along with Evan,s "Mexican pimped out" Krinkov/Scorpion hybrid.
