No, they don't. The Cutaway is the version of the takedown model, of which this is an example. This is a really an extremely well made gun with incredible tolerances that were done by hand and not CNC machines. Steven Dodd Hughes borrowed this one to do an article in "Shooting Sportsman" as he thought it was unique enough to feature it in a magazine usually dedicated to double barrel guns...

I knew about them, never handled one.

TIght fitted, well machined sorta reminds me of Merwin Hubert revolvers. Those are also nicely machined, tightly fitted.
