6.5 miles, 900’ of climb, 97 degrees.
About close to perfection!
National Weather Service said it was actually 100 degrees at 4:30 when I started.

Nice and sore from a day spent on the ocean in my wanky little boat yesterday. smile Got my (2) ling cod, a 10-lb Cabezon (incredible eats, imagine crab crossed with halibut) and a 17" black "sea bass", which my kid and I ate in tacos last night. Awesome.

Other than that.... fawk.... I've been a $lave. My hands and arms are hell for strong at least. I'd love to know the total poundage of all the castings I've handled multiple times in the last few weeks. It'd be way up there. Tonnage.

Keep up the good work guys. I'll be temporily done in a few days and plan on starting with some long rides and working up from there. Unfortunately it's been hot as hades here.

Got a text and a pic from Cyn a couple days ago. They are in the high Sierra... . They crossed a 12k pass yesterday according to the itinerary. That's her on the left.

It isn't the two rifles, shotgun, revolver, 300 rounds of ammo, and cast iron stove that throws me off my stride...it's the 50lb sack of potatoes!

Set a personal record for a 2 mile run post accident, with a few good hills, felt pretty good this morning to do that, especially when told you won't run again! Followed up with Day 1 of the PNW 15 minute AMRAP.

Warm-up: Elliptical 10min. Some girl was trying to wear out the stair master, and doing a fine job of it.
