Schidte, I'd eat all the scallops I could afford !!!

But,.......... $66 a kilo here & you've got to hope they were flash frozen !

Doesn't stop us from buying a couple of kilos per year !

Recipe inspiration here: https://thestayathomechef.com/grilled-halibut/

Grilled Halibut Walleye !!

Used the large thick shoulder "loins" from above the pin bones.

That looks pretty fair!

We had kind of a left over night.

Fried mashed potatoes, green beans, and a pork roast cut thin and simmered in sort of a home made BBQ sauce I just threw together in the pan.

Used up some hoagie buns I bought in town and some American cheese.

We all ate too much. I love left over nights!

+1 on Aldi for frozen jumbo sea scallops. Those are a little known commodity here and I don't spread that info around locally, except to my friends. A 12 oz. package of large scallops IN A VACUUM SEALED PACK WITH ALL WATER DRAINED OUT runs you $9.99. Yes, it's a 12 oz. package, but you're not paying for 1/2 the package to be water.

I am a big fan of Aldi, in general. Great prices and products.

Some jumbo scallops I did about a month ago.
