Plan on loading 90-100 grain premium bullets for deer. Any suggestions on which powders to try?

It's been a while since I loaded for a 6mm, but we always had great results with 4350's.

I agree with 3 out of the 5 above R19.

I've been very happy with H4831SC and 100 grain Gamekings. Short on time I quickly worked up a load using H4831SC for Barnes 85 grain TSX bullets and probably would've been better off with something like H4350. The H4831SC worked well, filled the freezer, but I suspect it's not optimal.

I'd first ask how long the barrel is. If it's an 18.5 inch 600 Rem, I'd go with a little quicker powder. Something with a a 24-26 inch tube would work with a bit slower powder. Later, 1Minute

Twenty two incher, I'd go with 435O. I own a Rem 600 with an 18.5 inch barrel, and 4350 blows really spectacular fire balls with poor performance. With that unit I go with 4320. Still get a lot of fire, but the groups are much tighter. 1Minute
