Plan on loading 90-100 grain premium bullets for deer. Any suggestions on which powders to try?

R19 is good for me....Have used 22 and H4831 also.....But I get good results with R19 mostly....

It's been a while since I loaded for a 6mm, but we always had great results with 4350's.

I've been very happy with H4831SC and 100 grain Gamekings. Short on time I quickly worked up a load using H4831SC for Barnes 85 grain TSX bullets and probably would've been better off with something like H4350. The H4831SC worked well, filled the freezer, but I suspect it's not optimal.

With the 95-100 gr start with 44 gr of RL 22 and work up to 48 or so. SLOOOOOW

I'd first ask how long the barrel is. If it's an 18.5 inch 600 Rem, I'd go with a little quicker powder. Something with a a 24-26 inch tube would work with a bit slower powder. Later, 1Minute

Twenty two incher, I'd go with 435O. I own a Rem 600 with an 18.5 inch barrel, and 4350 blows really spectacular fire balls with poor performance. With that unit I go with 4320. Still get a lot of fire, but the groups are much tighter. 1Minute
