For a few days I was being redirected constantly. I'll bet I won at least 100 Walmart gift cards at $1000 bucks a pop. I tried to share a link to a good topic with some friends and they were all bombarded with the Walmart gift card traffic and were redirected. It is pretty poor for the site image.

Re: Stop pesky Chevy ad from popping up [Re: TenX] Is there a way to keep the Chevy Silverado ad from popping up everytime you switch pages?

For about the past 2 weeks I have not been able to log on to the Fire via my Windows 10 laptop. No problem logging on through my Android phone, Windows 7 PC, or my iPad. I have tried all the fixes I can think of, re-booting, deleting cookies, checking settings, etc. As you can see below, a different browser makes no difference; none of the three on my laptop will get through. As usual, this problem only relates to the Fire; I have not had the issue on any other site. I would welcome any suggestions or advice on resolving this irritation. Thanks Microsoft Edge https://postimg.cc/YG1R8pmcFirefox https://postimg.cc/7GvXgChMOpera https://postimg.cc/5Qb3RZwX

Check your Firewall and Windows defender settings to see if the site is on a blocked list.
If you have third party Virus/Adware software that also blocks malicious sites see if the 24Fire is on a blocked list.
Could be your wireless router as well.

Thanks FC. I had checked the McAfee and didn't find anything. So I shut it down completely, re-booted and the problem is still there. The only adblock I use is built into Opera, which I use for the Fire access, so that wouldn't affect the other 2 browsers. If the router was the cause wouldn't that also affect my other devices?

Try doing a "System Restore" back to a date before this problem started?

Yes on the router affecting all devices. I was just throwing things out there to check. Yup to system restore. If that doesnt work Id uninstall mcaffee and do a clean reboot. See if you can access. Then reinstall mcaffe. Make sure you back everything up before doing any restore and reboot. Thanks FC. I had checked the McAfee and didn't find anything. This error is a little hard to track down. It happens when a secure site (https//) can't establish a secure connection with your computer. Check to see if your computer has the right time and date. Reset the router?
Why just you, and just on the fire is mysterious. (I'm taking it that your laptop can connect to other secure sites.)
Talk to your ISP, they could have inadvertently put a safety filter on the campfire.
A good start would be to Goggle the error message of your favorite browser and run through the suggestions.

Or you could've accidentally blocked the campfire through Windows. I avoid Windows 10 like the plague so you'll have to check Here

use the above url to lower your security setting , that should fix it. ¿ SSL 3.0 works for me on Chrome at least? Actually it works with ssl3.0 checked or unchecked. Will be interesting to see what he reports back.

I had a problem with Edge not loading, so I went through the Microsoft "repair" process and it fixed it automatically.

You can do something similar with other browsers - reset to the default settings. In Firefox it's click on the 3 bar icon, click on "Help" and then on "Troubleshooting Information" and finally on "Refresh Firefox". Chrome can do it too but I don't use Chrome enough to know just where the magic button is.
