I'd be shocked to see the 450 offered before a number of other cartridges. I doubt that is a particularly good seller even in a RH configuration. I'm just glad someone is starting to sell a rifle made with quality materials and components. Most of these manufacturers can't figure out why they can't sell left handed guns chambered in .30-06 with chrome moly actions/barrels and either wood or Tupperware stocks. Maybe it's because that's nearly all that's been offered to us for the last 40 years. Savage and Tikka have done a pretty good job with their offerings, but they are not in the same league in terms of quality. IME Montana Rifle Company and Christensen have really upped the game for left handed shooters.

Yes, true. But markets such as Michigan where 20,000 guns of that caliber sold in the last year might make them consider it.

Well none of that changed Barrett's mind, they screwed us Lefty's over.

Unfortunately I'm not going to hold my breath for them or Kimber but I'll be the first in line if either changes their minds.

Euro optic called me yesterday and said my 7-08 was shipped to my FFL dealer. Now to decide which scope to put on it but probably a Leu 3i 3.5-10X40.

It’s there. Didn’t make it in time.

I’ll pick it up tomorrow for sure.

Im liking the rifle. Especially the stock. I’d call it a “slim” stock. Or maybe it seems that from shooting my HS Precision with double palm swell.

Now to scope it and go shoot it.

Just signed the paperwork for mine and got to hold it. Now for the ten day waiting period. Really liked the stock design and overall balance of it. My only concern is will the bolt handle easily clear a low mounted scope without a hassle. Can't wait to break it in.

What calibers are you guys ordering? I'm looking real hard at a 8" twist 243. Comments?

I went with the 7-08 as I think it will take care of anything I hunt. I have a LH Ruger in 7-08 that is deadly but I just wanted another rifle. This one is somewhat lighter and for a guy my age that is a real consideration. Besides that, I just like good rifles.

I with the 6.5cm.

It’ll make 5 lefty rifles in creedmoor now. Think i got it covered.

I also went with the Mesa 7-08, waiting on damn scope mounts at the moment...rifle, scope, cartridges, all set to go. Going to shoot in my new 260 Rem tomorrow if the rain doesn't ruin my day.
