Nah, don’t let it get your blood pressure up.

I was arguing with somebody recently about something political, and she said, “What are you, a Nazi?”

I said, “ln the sense that I disagree with you? Absolutely!”

It stopped her dead.

“But you...ah...that’s...I mean...um...you’re a Nazi!”

“So what? What does it matter what I am or am not? You’re still wrong, and I’m still right.”

“No, you’re a Nazi!”

“But a Nazi whose argument you can’t refute. Heck, I’m probably a racist and a misogynist and a homophobe and all the rest of it, too—a total Deplorable, one end to the other. But a Deplorable with an argument you seem completely incapable of even addressing, much less gainsaying. What does that make you?”

“Nazi!”

“Tee hee. You have a nice day now, y’hear?” (big smile)

She was like the car-chasing dog when the car screeches to a halt. Completely rocked her world.

When I hear someone say that I know that they are not yet politically astute. Simple fact of the matter is, regardless of how you may feel, you are ALWAYS voting for the party and NEVER the person because the person is getting funding from the party and is going to pretty well tow its line. Essentially you are voting for the party's leadership which in this case is Pelosi, Schumer, and Emperor Corrinius Bookerus.....I don't care how much they may claim to like guns, hunting, whatever.

I also came of age politically when Jimmy Carter ran in 1976. I was 11 and thought it would be "cool" if someone from Georgia was President.....I was on the same level mentally as the people who voted in Obama because he was black.....but I was 11 and could not vote.

I asked Dad if he were voting for Jimmy. Dad said no, he sucked as Governor and would suck worse as President. Dad was willing to vote for a brain damaged Yankee (Jerry Ford), who took to many shots to the head playing ball, over the "native son" and boy was he right. After seeing Jimmy eff everything up and Ronald Reagan fix it, I have been a lifelong Republican......never voted for a communist and never will.

I watched Newt Gingrich on Fox last night and I quote him. The Democrat Party no longer exists, the party is now the SOCIALIST party with 60% of dems having gone far left".

Smart man! When I just can't vote for either party or when a person is running unopposed, I write my wife in!!! I'm married to a lady who has received votes for Judge, and Senator!

Also from what I read tip O'Neal would stop by the whitehouse couple times a week too have a drink with president Regan, just to shoot chit.. that chit isn't happening these days.

I've voted in very few mid-terms. I did this time.

I voted for Blackburn, though one of her ads has a pretty obvious "edited and out of context" piece on Bredesen talking about taxes. I hate that crap. Regardless of who runs it.
Some will say the other side does it. No doubt. I just feel like if she (or anyone else, for that matter) were that great of a candidate, she wouldn't have to.

She strikes me a another shrill female politician. Though, in fairness, most female politicians do (including Sarah Palin, her being hot notwithstanding).

I voted for Blackburn even though Bredesen, in my opinion, was a better (or at least no worse) governor than the POS R we have now and definitely better than the POS R that preceded him.

I voted for Blackburn ONLY because of her party affiliation and her record on gun rights (which indicates she is bright enough to know where her bread gets buttered). I voted for her simply because a vote for Bredesen is now a vote for the socialist agenda.

My folks won't vote democrat at this point. And they don't like Blackburn. I rather doubt they vote at all. They don't feel particularly inclined to honor someone with the power of their vote simply because they like someone else's party affiliation less. I know a lot of folks like that.

Maybe Trump will appoint her to something then I can vote for somebody I like a bit better. Or maybe she'll amaze me. Or maybe we can resurrect Fred D. Thompson........he wasn't perfect, but I actually enjoyed voting for him.

Tex you don't get it. The democrats are not socialists. They're full blown balls to the wall COMMUNISTS.

I have been contending/preaching this for 20+ years now.
There is just NO other way to describe what the demonrats are doing - they are intent on destroying the United States of America!

In the past, I would typically try to segregate my thoughts about Democrats and Democrat politicians. Democrat politicians are completely off the deep end and imo have a clear agenda as Obama said to fundamentally change America. That is not good I used to know Democrat voters who didn't sync up with the politicians but were Democrats because that's what their family always was etc. Today, I have to say, those people are few and far between. The politicians have turned the Democrat Party into a full blown socialist cult and have successfully brainwashed their voter base. My father and my grandfather were Democrats and I didn't think they were clueless. They were Reagan Democrats. I have always been a Republican or Libertarian because I don't think the Democrat Party can be salvaged. The old guard Democrats who weren't clueless have all but died off leaving a bunch of progressive losers in their wake.

The SOLE difference in a 2018-style SOCIALIST & a COMMUNIST is the Commie often has a Communist Party membership card in his/her pocket.

Functionally the 2 sorts of leftists are the SAME. Also the difference in a Communist & a Fascist is that the Fascists have generally better taste in uniforms.
