This race should not have been this close. Democrats mine votes and this state probably had several million Mexican nationals vote because they had a drivers license and managed to get a registration. Lots of election officials are liberals and look the other way allowing people they know shouldn't vote to do so. I know for a fact that many social workers mine votes from elderly people suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. Then you have the young idiot college kids that are prone to be socialistic because that's what they've been taught all their lives. Lots of "minorities" still are under the influence of the helping hand of government, dependent on their welfare that is claimed they're owed. Then there's the class of idiots that vote democrat blindly just because that's what they have always done. Hippies young and old plus their offspring. Democrats are playing for keeps and their motto is win at any cost no matter what. It is a unholy war to them.
There is no way this election should have ended up this close yet it did. $70M and big yard signs just about everywhere you look plus television advertisement 24-7 bashing Cruz. All this in spite of Beto's idiotic droolings telling the public exactly what he intended to do should have got him a 70-30 loss in this state. My God the man looked like he was on amphetamines in his commercials.
We've got a huge problem and it ain't just here it's everywhere. The democrats own the house now and it will be largely impossible for Trump to get any meaningful legislation though for the next two years. About the only good news is we might have better luck getting judicial appointees.

Texas has 254 counties. 80℅ of the voters live in three metropolitan areas. They have been counted. We'll see. God bless Texas country Rednecks of all descriptions, by voting 80% Conservative they saved Texas.
