I agree with most of the above comments. Man had a bullseye on him. I might could understand if he gave her a ride in the F-16 but got ratted out on arrival.

Same politically correct BS from subversives like Clinton's General Shinseki that had everybody wearing berets since it just wasn't fair for the Green Berets/Airborne/Rangers to have their own berets. Since WWII no more naked women painted on bombers, more recently no more porn flicks in aircraft carrier ready-rooms - the military is now run like a corporate human resources department filled with raging communist dykes and every straight man has a target on his back. Now, hand out those Ranger tabs to every woman who wants one and give out a few tridents to some Navy women who want to be the first SEAL office administrators.....

I have designed a number of things on the F-16 in 1990 and sold it to Loral.
The biggest was the 26 different power supplies in the 56M radar warning system. $4.6M for the engineering of which I got very little as I was an employee of a subcontractor.
I made multi output forward converters with FET linear post regulators.

I sold the same post regulator idea again to Spectrian that was building cell towers in China in the 1990s. I was an independent consultant then.

If they fired every pilot who flew out and got laid, there'd be a total of three pilots available for all four services. I agree, there was a LOT more to this story than we saw.

Late neighbor was one of the pilots assigned to AF1 during LBJ's presidency. Claimed that one of his duties was to fly a fighter to an air field in TX every Sunday morning. He was handed a copy of the local newspaper. He then flew back to D.C. in time to have the newspaper sitting on the table when LBJ sat down for Sunday morning breakfast. No heads rolled over that...

Back in the day SAC did weekend incentive flights. We'd load up a KC-135 with 20~25 PAX and head for somewhere for a long weekend. Gravy job for us crewchiefs, we'd preflight and launch with the airplane early friday morning. When we landed around noon we would park, pump the airplane and put her to bed. Had the weekend off, back at the aircraft early Monday for preflight, kick the tires and light the fires for the trip home. Got paid TDY pay and per diem for the trip which really sucked... 😄
