I think you'll like it. Your 357 version is a full 6 ounces heavier than my 38.

Steel frame and a little more meat on the cylinder do add some weight. Seems like a decent compromise for the 357 chambering.
The 21 ounces still feels feathery light compared to the 37 ounce Security Six.

The 21 ounces still feels feathery light compared to the 37 ounce Security Six. The frame is steel? Just to be clear: The upper frame is stainless steel, the part housing the cylinder and barrel. The lower frame is polymer, the part housing the fire control system and grip.

That's kind of what I'm thinking too.
Plenty of punch, not abusive on the shooter or the revolver.

QL predicts about 919 fps, 19.4K psi. I ran 4.6" barrel, but there is no input for cylinder gap.
Scott, sent you a PM.

The 21 ounces still feels feathery light compared to the 37 ounce Security Six. At that weight, I would almost consider it a better version of the 3" SP101. I LOVE my 3" SP101 but admit it is a tad on the beefy side for CCW work....and the lack of an adjustable sight makes it less than ideal for woods play with various bullet weights. The sights probably being my biggest gripe of those two points. This 3" LCRx solves both of those points for me.

I had a 2.25" SP101 some years back. Great little tank of a revolver, but yeah it is a hefty thing. Weighs more than a Glock 17. That was about the time I opted to carry the G17, rather than the SP101.

Yeah, I have a clip draw on my 3" LCRx and wear the damn thing inside my swim trunks in the summer.

Lighter with a better payload of ammo, and easier to recharge under stress.

10 rounds, 10 yards, double action. 170gr SWC, 6.0 gr Unique, 1050 fps. Got some leading, gonna try 5.0 gr.

I'd like to see them all in one cluster at 10 yards.
Not sure if I was pushing a little on some of those lower hits, but likely so.
Always room to improve.
