I am sure Oregon is on the very short list and I can't figure out why he would leave liberal western Washington. I am sure our Liberal Governor would gladly bend over for him to get him to contribute to his presidential campaign. Don't think they are leaving WA just expanding across the country

We already have a huge (and expanding) Amazon distribution network in Northern KY built around CVG. Might as well bring HQ2, et al, to N.KY as well...

They already have a large campus in Portland, OR if I am not mistaken. Nephew works for them there. Computer Science/Cyber Security major. Had three companies in a bidding war to hire him straight out of college. Amazon won.

Article I read said HQ2 will be in Virginia, 25,000 jobs, average pay $150,000/year.

Cuomo made this state a death trap to do business in phuuck Amazon and Cuomo and NY Cuomo showed his ass and his cards when he blovulated last week about only collecting 30% of desperately needed tax revenues. That is the only way NY can get a business to open here. They give them 10 or more years of ridiculous tax breaks and when it expires and the company has to start paying NY taxes they move somewhere else. I think we have proven it doesn't work. Cuomo should be ashamed he is the guy responsible for this situation, not bragging about it.

From what I have heard (from people in my industry), Amazon isn't a great place to work (at least in my profession). Can't really speak for other parts of Amazon.

And I should have made thoughts in that regard clearer in my original posting.
I feel sorry for the few hard working traditional valued honest folks in New York!
I think I will put my "bucket list" entry of taking in New York City and the Statue of Liberty on permanent "hold" until some sort of semblance of sanity returns to the politicians in charge of New York state and new York city!
The "messthatisnbc and the propangandist arm of the demonrat party (communist news network - cnn!) are avoiding this issue like the plague!

True. About 100+ of us (as well as multiple other locations around the US) were told by our employer that they are moving (firing us) within three years to a different state to "consolidate". I work(ed) for one of the largest logistics companies....
