2 questions:

1) WTF is THAT in the can?

2) Were they all out of the BIG packs of refrigerator magnets?

Oh....wait...

2 questions and a statement:

Ya'll ain't gonna get no ice cubes with the tray sitting in the living room. Ya'll have to fill that with water, suck open the freezer door with a giant magnet and put the tray inside.

I used to trade em for skunky Bud Light. You would brand calves and use 4 cases out of 8. The other 4 would go bad in the shed.

Those 4 cases would get turned into commodities.

I remember my grandma picking up her commodities! There was a trunkful of plain cans and wrappers therein. But, that cheese and canned meat really worked. Plain as y’day.

Have to admit I grew up and love blacktail venison and beef - but - you are a good and honest man. Pork is more versatile, and when grass fed is delicious. Taste and protein content when grass fed is fantastic. Not that I have ate it that much, but goat meat (grass fed) is the most common meat in the world and for good reason. It is very similar to high quality venison and can be grown/raised just about anywhere (a similar quality for pork I might add.)

PS: A hearty thank you for raising beef in this country at this time.

You can't have beef for the rest of your life. The Democrats are going to ban beef because cattle cause global warming.

first choice would be Lamb.

Beef or pork I never can decide. Probably pork since there is bacon, country ham, and eastern NC BBQ but I sure would miss beef.

Bison

But glad I don’t have to make the choice

It'd be almost a tossup between pork and chicken, for me.

I'll likely be cheating but I'm gonna have to insist on both.

Hook or crook
trade or shade
I'll have both...

Domestic, I would have to say T-bone steak off my cousins natural fed beef. They get corn silage topped with a ground feed mixture of corn and oats twice a day and alfalfa hay to chew on. The flavor is out of this world.

We are just finishing up a 200 lb (hanging weight) hog that was commercially (but locally) raised. Very little flavor. I'm about porked out from that.

Pork! hands down, with it I can have bacon, sausage, ham, pork chops and grilled loin, are there better cuts? sure, particularly in the African bush, but here, for a lifetime all arounder, pork is unbeatable for me.

Don't get me wrong, elk is good.

I'll second on the lamb. Don't know if I'm part Hannibal, but rare chops are to die for. Other than that, moose.

But I like them all. With that, heading to make breakfast with homemade pork sausage.

I am rather partial to chicken. I like it fried, roasted, stewed, smoked......cooked just about anyway. I also like pork and beef. I could probably be pretty much satisfied with any of it for the rest of my life. I like seafood, but not compared to the others. I hate lamb On the other hand, barbequed mutton is good if it's cooked right.

It would be hard to pick just one, but I do like chicken.
