I know one business changed their weekend hours due to thug violence.
Another closed.
Went out last night, to family restaurant w bar at back.
Any other type of establishment is just too risky, because of a certain type.
That isn't racist, is just fact (in my town).

That isn't racist, is just fact (in my town). During Black Bike Week (an annual event in Myrtle Beach, SC), local businesses were regularly trashed and employees assaulted, so they all started closing up shop and bringing down the steel grates for the week. The blacks sued, and the courts ruled that the businesses are compelled, under penalty of law, to remain open during Black Bike Week, because their decision to close was, the courts ruled, racist. Seems like slavery, but that's actually what happened.

Sorry, but there is no validation to resorting to violence over language and there is no way to spin it into a situation in which it would be. I believe intelligent people understand that.

i was in Va beach Labor Day weekend 1989 when the black fraternities had their annual get together. one of them fell off a balcony and because of the crowds it took the ambulance a while to get there. the blacks deemed it racist and trashed the place. Atlantic ave looked like Mogadishu. the National Guard was called out and closed off the street and let them riot. i lived three blocks or so back and was highly concerned for my safety. it was completely ridiculous and shameful behavior.

They wanted to finish shoveling the eight inches of fresh snow on our walks for a fee.

I remember the OJ trial.
Black engineers I worked with said the DNA stuff wasn't good enough to convict.
But they thought it 100% reliable to get those already convicted of crimes exonerated.
