Stinky, Looking back 19 years ago, you seemed to be able to carry on a somewhat civil conversation with just a hint of intelligence. What the hell happened?
You now have the vocabulary of a five year old retard. We know you have some knowledge of firearms but absolutely no ability whatsoever to convey this knowledge. Spreading all this hate and discontent has done nothing for anybody especially you. No big deal for me, I going to dinner and read a book.

A 107 hasn't got chit on a CH53E and a Kilo well you might as well hang up any thoughts and prayers you may have had. Hell the 107 CH46 can't even hang with a CH53D. I have been around them all and then some. I have wrenched and crewed on them all. The 107 or CH46 is labor intensive. Until you get to the CH47 you can't beat the CH53D. The only thing the CH47 has going for it the CH53E doesn't is that all six blades are creating lift. So it has slightly better performance at altitude. I have been in a CH53E coming from the factory going to MCAS Tustin flying cross country doing 240knotts and they weren't even pulling 90%. Granted that was on a brand spanking new one.

Hell the CH46's couldn't even get to the fight when we were in Rwanda during Operation Distant Runner. No worries four CH53E's did the job! Operation Distant Runner is the farthest amphibious assault ever conducted by the Marine Corps. I believe it still is the record.

Or as you like to say Stick, why not do more with less? Because the Hawk pretty much outperforms the the Frog with a lot less maintenance. Pardon my not having to guess and having worked on them All.

Because the private sector can't afford to play. However HTS has a CH53D. Hell if you want to make it about coast then look no farther then the Kaman K-Max arial Truck.

Oh the Private Sector has deeper pockets, than folks "think" and simply operate the best tools for the job. It's all factored by ounces and dollars.

The K-Max couldn't pull a limp dick out of a bucket of lard. That's why noone for real, uses 'em.

Hint................

Stick, Stick, Stick....... You got a lot to learn about Helicopters. The Private Sector uses what is readily available. Kawasaki was smart when they bought the CH46. Unlike Erickson when they bought the Sky Crane and didn't opt for the $1.5 million in tooling. Had they been smart they would have paid happily and probably never would have had to gone into Foreclosure.

To prove your statement wrong, Life Flight Networks has very very deep pockets. Yet they have operated and bought some POS's.

SkyCranes are wayyyyyyyyyy labor/parts intensive...as compared to tandem rotor. Hint.

'Course I'm talking actual use,not sumptin' setting in a hangar or on the tarmac somewhere.

Had never heard of Erickson.

Laughing!................

Maybe so. But unlike Hillary I am actually good at my job. For the past 20 years I haven't sent out resumes looking for work. Yet I have worked on some of the best jobs out there. I think that says a little something. I turn away more work than Hillary ever thought of having.
