A 107 hasn't got chit on a CH53E and a Kilo well you might as well hang up any thoughts and prayers you may have had. Hell the 107 CH46 can't even hang with a CH53D. I have been around them all and then some. I have wrenched and crewed on them all. The 107 or CH46 is labor intensive. Until you get to the CH47 you can't beat the CH53D. The only thing the CH47 has going for it the CH53E doesn't is that all six blades are creating lift. So it has slightly better performance at altitude. I have been in a CH53E coming from the factory going to MCAS Tustin flying cross country doing 240knotts and they weren't even pulling 90%. Granted that was on a brand spanking new one.
