Those are sobering photos, to say the least. I have been to the Dachau concentration camp, but it was nothing like those photos of Auschwitz-at least from what I remember?
There were many concentration camps. They were all primarily work camps. Auschwitz Birkenau was the only extermination camp as its primary purpose. Some were lucky to get to work there but most were killed. The room full of hair (no pictures allowed there) was very disturbing.
