Brings back some old memories. Went into the Army in 72 and while in basic training had a chance to go to Helo pilot school. Well, Vietnam was going pretty hot and heavy still and my MOS was 11B-(infantry) so I turned it down thinking I would take my chances on the ground. Still kick myself for that stupid decision and a few others I made while serving.... got to know a few Helo drivers at Fort Lewis and they had a great life and trained almost as much as we did in the infantry.
