I'm thinking nobody outside the state will understand my last post, but that's ok.

I do not think Chris Fajala is still running the U-Rascal but he is competent and experienced and the most ridiculously good fisherman in the area for sports gear. He would be a great choice if he is going far enough south.
Three Bears is an outstanding boat, but not sure if the old Captain is still running it.

If you look at an air transporter realize you are weight-limited...

Fiala. I fished with him a few times, great skipper! finds the white kings for his Japanese clients. He taught me a lot about Chiniak Bay, to quote him "There is a lot of stuff to hit out here", starting with Discovery Reef. smile

He dubbed me "Dialectric Charters" for a lure I gave him a handful of. The prototypes worked so well he got to saving them for bad days.

He could size up a new party of fishermen better than most. He would ignore the good ones and the pathetic ones, and coach the medium ones, that showed some promise. Had a mixup scheduling with him once; he did not miss a beat/ got me and my visiting brother linked up with Ken Cook and we had a great day with some 100# flatfish that day.
