Fairly nice shape, finish wise, SN 193541 except that it had the crack that was mentioned in the description and D & T that wasn't mentioned in the description. The auctioneer made sure to point out that the spool, as seen thru the port, was really shiny. Hammered at $950.00. The auction was Zettlemoyer's. They had an ANIB Model 23A Sporter SN 95656 hammered at @500.
950 seems steep to me for what it was. 10% BP plus 6% sales tax plus FFL check put it over 1100 easy.
I picked up a Colt open top pocket model 7 shot 22RF revolver just because, a wall hanger. Made prior to 1880 so BP only. neat little piece.
