What about the .38-55 or the .375 Win? When .375w Big-Bore came out I thought it would really catch on ... so what caused its demise into obscurity..? I must admit I would much rather have a .358win Miroku BLR ..

It was the high point of the belted magnum craze.

My how time flies, it doesn't seem like 40 yrs ago... but It was about that time I got hooked on the idea of a Weatherby- and it wasn't all that long before I had three of his proprietary MkV chamberings...

The ones that say Winchester behind its name would be .284, .264, .338 and .358. Honorable mention to the .356.

270 followed by the 338
These are the finest pure hunting rounds ever created IMHO. No argument - that combo has so much going for it...my .338 (when I had need for such) was my preferred goto ..

Oh, by a landslide, the .270 wcf. Better than ever these days and I am approaching 50 years with it now. I always default to it. Still , as good of a Sheep round as ever designed. Hunting Bighorns, Stone's and Dall's sheep ...is my game

These are the ones I own as well, multiples of the first three and one each of the last two.

Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

I have to say .308, but in reality, my all time favorite is the 7mm-08 Remchester.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.
