I thought church was on Sunday because of Genesis. We all work Monday through Saturday creating the world and take Sunday off to enjoy the fruits of our labors. The only person who has to work on Sunday’s is the preacher because he doesn’t really work the rest of the week. If he’d get a regular job we could all take Sunday off.

My wife and I just had a disagreement. She asked if I found a part time job yet and I explained that I had. She asked me what it was. I explained I would be a deacon at my church and as a result I would be a man of god.

She asked what it paid which I thought was a sinful question. She is upset now.

I also told her about the membership fee they require so we can worship. She was not aware and now she's saying she will NOT pay the fees. She told me she is "Putting her foot down"

I explained I am the man of the house but she will not speak to me.
