No bike at the moment, but my little brother has a 2017 Yamaha R1 that I'm interested in. I miss the acceleration of an open-class sport bike-nothing like it!!
Track days can be great, but they (can) make street riding seem even more dangerous in that you realize you just can't ride at a track-day( let alone race) pace on the street without incurring an incredible amount of risk.
Those track days have to be hell on the bike too? Brakes and tires and such?

Brother 'Flave, May your god bless you in these days of back sliding. Hey, that motorcycle thing, My buddy rode a BMW GS 1000 for several years, on road and off. He took it into some pretty ridiculous places. Scared the bejesus out of most guys trying to keep up with him on like bikes. He eventually sold it and purchased a new 2010 Camaro SS/RS. A big GS will definitely fix your need for speed. And if you have the talent, it will take you anywhere you might imagine a bike could go. But you gotta deal with that Nazi thing.  Around here, the KLR 650 is king of the dual sports, popularity wise. What does GS stand for?

Reason I ask is that I'm taking an online German course and my iPad English spec keyboard is a total PITA! Or am I just too dumb to pull up other symbols on the normal keyboard? 😃

In iOS yöü long hold on vowels for umlauts. The Eszett (ß) is long hold on the s key. It’s much easier than key caps in MacOS. Auto correct can be a kgunt.
