257Heaven: Best of luck to you and "your" team! I wish them well. Sadly both my "fav's" are out of the competition now (Gonzaga and Washington). I enjoy college sports nowadays so much more than pro-sports! I have completely foresaken pro-basketball and pro-football and only watch the Seattle Mariners at bedtime because it puts me to sleep quickly. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I find myself curiously wanting to watch the Oregon chick against Baylor. The media has talked her up for sure.

Sorry to be the spoiler on this little coffee clutch but MSU is who I am pulling for. Texas is going to be a tough game, I think it's to close to call. Might be the best game of the weekend? Texas was in the NIT.

Sorry guys, it's Michigan State all the way. Alma Mater for one of my kids, grad classes for me. Anybody that can beat Duke, should be able to handle a bunch of cowboys. ;>) Good luck to you and yours. I hope Izzo and the players think the same of our "cowboys".

And he’s won 1 in 7 tries. 4 Final Fours for Calipari with Kentucky. And he won 1. Obviously not an easy thing to do.

Izzo is #5 in most all-time final four tournament appearances behind Roy Williams, Dean Smith, John Wooden and Mike Krzyzewski. Pretty lousy company, eh? Yeah, overrated.

I couldn’t agree more. IMO a college athlete is either going to work his ass of so that he can continue to play or because he’s never going to play again. This one and done stuff is ridiculous. 98% of kids don’t play sports past high school, 99% past college. Always thought a lot of Ronde and Tikki Barbour from UVA. I don’t discount the raw talent and work it takes for an athlete to be successful, but I reckon I’m old skool in thinking there’s value in education.

I hope Texas Tech kicks the spartoon’s ass’ all he way back to east lansing. I hate state with a passion - just like they hate Michigan. **** em’.
I’ve been a season ticket holder in the Big House since 1973 - that’s the year the spartoon’s f^ucked over Michigan. We’ve hated them ever since.

The NIT?!
The NCAA tournament takes 67 teams these days. Half the teams in it can't dribble the ball without bouncing it offa their foot.
How do you come up with a tourament made from teams that didn't make the first 67?

,...the winner of the NIT basketball tournament has a point guard with a peg right leg whittled out of a hickory ax handle.
They won because he didn't have a foot down there to dribble the ball off of.
I hear they're going to outlaw peg legs in future NIT tournaments,.......unfair advantage and alla that,....

But this kid manages the game better than both in my opinion, though he lacks the speed of both. MSU is going to be very hard to beat.
