I decided to make this thread when I saw the thread about having a GTG. The anger here is out of control. I'm at the extreme low end of the anger spectrum, I know, but some here, wow. It's like a meth rehab.
You may think that the members here are more angry then other forums, but you would be mistaken.
The difference here is not the members, but the forum administrator, Rick.
Unlike any other forum I have visited, he has allowed his members to speak freely. No, banning for name calling, no warnings for swearing, just real people speaking as if they were talking to your face without restrictions on one's choice of words..
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
Internet anonymity combined with "anything goes" from the moderator leads to a lot of keyboard cowboys posting. You'll have zero problems if you try courtesy with everyone and develop a thick skin towards the guys with something to prove to everyone.
There are lots of great guys here with a wealth of information to share....like anything else in life, pick and choose whom you wish to listen to.
You only live once, but...if you do it right, once is enough.
You need a thick skin, the ability to ignore insults from buffoons, with a dash of GFY thrown in without posting it. Just look it some of the characters as entertainment.
Life Member NRA, RMEF, American Legion, MAGA. Not necessarily in that order.
As wild and woolly as it gets here, I personally prefer a forum where I can speak my mind and others can too. All the "just be nice" PC crap is a pandora's box...once that crap begins there is no end to the inhibition and prohibition.
You either embrace free speech or you oppose it.
I would rather have civil discourse because the participants choose it than to have it forced.

i was going to sign up for advanced trtmnts of testosterone injections, but my doctor said i didn't need it. she said the risks far out weigh the rewards.
but there were plenty of other doctors out there that would likely sell me the injections for a fee.
i just hate un-controlled anger. lot's of highway incidents related to road rage. cars?
