One of the reasons I've been angry lately is the use of the word "so" to start a sentence.
When did this begin? Why is it not punishable by death?
The most egregious examples are performed by people that believe they are more intelligent than they are and use it throughout a Q&A.
i.e. Christ Stirewalt replies to a question:
"Soooo, one thing the Republicans need to be looking at as they move forward to 2020 is..."
I would like to see these people killed.
Who is with me? Hell yes! I have been noticing this as well, for some time now. I thought perhaps it's been going on all along but is just one of those things you don't notice for a long time, but once you do you can't stop noticing it everywhere. I think its probably because I've been listening to podcasts alot, and many of the guest have the "so" sentence started tendency.

This forum is relatively tame, and I think it's because many of us become "known" to one another. There isn't the kind of puerile garbage you see when basement dwellers dominate.
Most of us are "middle class" with "responsibilities," non-felons with the resources to have guns. We're armed and therefore relatively polite. Mostly.

I decided to make this thread when I saw the thread about having a GTG. The anger here is out of control. I'm at the extreme low end of the anger spectrum, I know, but some here, wow. It's like a meth rehab. What is this thread you cite? GTG?
