This is from powder valley's facebook page. I hate to see Rainer going away
Powder Valley 1 hr · We just received information that Rainier has decided to close their doors forever. We're a little surprised. It is always sad to see a company who is in our industry close their doors. We never sold their bullets but have had many meetings with them over the years.

That's a pity. I used a lot of Rainer bullets back in the day.

Sort of explains why they're closing.

My most accurate load for one of my pistols was with a Rainier bullet. I hope this is not true. Doesn't appear to be from their website.... https://www.rainierballistics.com/

I have been buying jacketed bullets from Precision Delta for cheaper than the prices I see on Rainer plated bullets almost every place I have looked. RMR also is cheaper for jacketed.

If someone buys it, they'd be smart to move it out of WA.

Sort of explains why they're closing. I thought the same when I posted above. I just recently got back into the reloading scene after years of being away. I used to shoot a fair amount of their .45 230gr plated bullets, like 10,000 perhaps? Never had any complaints. EDIT: I guess I will have to find a different bullet supplier.

Seem to be a lot of new bullet manufacturers at SHOT on a regular basis. They do not seem to grow quickly... I would think the competition is tough.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
